Schmid and Son Packaging has been in business since 1981. They specialize in packaging, assembly of products, and distribution. Their new office, warehouse, and manufacturing space was completed in July of 2003. Schmid and Son's new home has a total of 35,120 sf.

Schmid and Son Packaging will be a major asset to the City of Cottage Grove and the other Business Park growth partners for their packaging needs. In 2003, the Council continued to maintain new industrial development as a primary community goal. Our City Council has also made fiscal stability a major goal for the city. Council Members would like to emphasize growth and diversity of our tax base to create higher value for taxpayers and other community stakeholders. A quality project like Schmid and Son Packaging is an asset to our Industrial Park and will help to make our Council goals more attainable.
